PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. They constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GoHerit Private Limited and govern (a) your access to and use of the GoHerit website located at www.goherit.com, the GoHerit mobile application and any sub‑domains, APIs, email notifications, SMS, WhatsApp messages, widgets, in‑product experiences or other online services that link to these terms (collectively, the “Platform”); and (b) all services, features and content made available through the Platform (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing, browsing, registering with or using the Platform or the Services you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by (1) these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”), (2) our Privacy Policy, and (3) any guidelines, tariff cards, fee schedules, promotions, service‑specific policies, warranty terms or additional agreements that we publish or otherwise make available to you from time to time (collectively, “Supplemental Terms”). The Privacy Policy and any Supplemental Terms form an integral part of, and are incorporated by reference into, these Terms. To the extent of any inconsistency, the Supplemental Terms shall prevail for the portion of the Services to which they relate.
The Services are provided by GoHerit Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act 2013 and having its registered office at KG‑1 Road, Near Ishwari Sweets, Vikaspuri, New Delhi 110018, India, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “GoHerit”, “GH”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
The term “you” or “Customer” refers to (a) the individual natural person who registers an account or otherwise accesses or uses the Services; or (b) if the Services are being used on behalf of a legal entity, that entity and its authorised users. If you are using the Services on behalf of a company, organisation or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and in that case “you” will refer to that entity.
The Platform is intended solely for persons who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and otherwise legally competent to contract. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you satisfy these eligibility criteria.
These Terms are concluded electronically. We may update them at any time by posting the revised version on the Platform and updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Services and close your account.
The Platform operates as an online marketplace that enables users to discover, request, schedule, manage and pay for various home‑based services (for example, plumbing, carpentry, cleaning, appliance repair, beauty, wellness and other categories) that are delivered by independent third‑party service professionals (each a “Service Professional” or “Herit Partner”).
Service Professionals are independent contractors. They are not employees, agents, joint‑venturers or partners of GoHerit, and they do not have any authority to bind or represent GoHerit. GoHerit does not control, supervise or direct the manner in which Service Professionals perform the services they offer (“Pro Services”). GoHerit’s role is limited to operating the Platform, facilitating bookings and acting as a limited payment collection agent on behalf of Service Professionals to accept and process payments from Customers.
Unless we explicitly agree otherwise, the Platform is intended for use only within the territory of India. If you access the Platform from outside India, you are solely responsible for compliance with local laws.
A core feature of the Services is the ability for GoHerit to send you transactional or promotional communications (including SMS, WhatsApp messages, emails, push notifications and in‑app alerts). By creating an account you consent to receiving such communications. You may opt‑out of non‑transactional communications through in‑app settings or by emailing help@goherit.com, but you acknowledge that this may impact certain features of the Services.
We may request proof of identity or other documents at any time to verify your eligibility to use the Services or to comply with law. Failure to provide such information may result in denial of access to the Services or cancellation of bookings.
To place bookings you must create a user account (“Account”) by providing accurate, current and complete information as prompted (such as mobile number and OTP verification). You agree to maintain and promptly update your Account information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your Account. Notify us immediately at security@goherit.com of any unauthorised use or suspected breach.
Each individual or entity may maintain only one active Account unless expressly permitted by us. We reserve the right to merge, suspend or terminate duplicate Accounts.
By registering, you expressly consent to receiving (a) booking confirmations, payment requests and other transactional communications; (b) information about new features, offers or promotions; and (c) feedback or survey requests. You can opt‑out of promotional messages as noted in Section 2.4.
The Platform may allow you to upload, post, submit, transmit or otherwise make available text, photos, ratings, reviews, feedback, suggestions or other materials (collectively, “User Content”).
You hereby grant GoHerit a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, transferable and sublicensable licence to use, host, reproduce, adapt, modify, create derivative works from, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and otherwise exploit your User Content (in whole or in part) (a) to operate, improve and promote the Services, (b) for quality‑control, analytics and training purposes, and (c) to comply with law or enforce these Terms.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that it:
We may, but are not obliged to, monitor, moderate or remove any User Content at our sole discretion without notice.
Customers may be asked to rate and review Service Professionals and vice‑versa. These reviews help maintain service quality. You agree that (a) reviews must be honest and relevant; (b) GoHerit may analyse and publish aggregate ratings; and (c) GoHerit may suspend Accounts with persistently poor ratings.
Our collection, use, disclosure and processing of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy, including:
To request a Pro Service, follow the flow in the Platform: select the service category, provide address and details, choose a time‑slot and click “Book”.
The Platform will attempt to match you with an available Service Professional. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation via in‑app notification, SMS or email. If no match is found for your chosen slot, we will contact you with alternative options.
If the assigned Service Professional becomes unavailable, we will offer you a substitute Service Professional of similar rating and skills. You may accept the substitute or cancel without penalty.
You may cancel a confirmed booking through the Platform subject to our Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Depending on when you cancel, a cancellation fee may apply.
If a Service Professional cancels, you will not be charged cancellation fees and we will attempt to re‑book another Service Professional or refund any prepayment.
For certain services the Platform shows upfront rates; for others, the Service Professional may provide an estimate on inspection. If additional work or parts are needed, the Service Professional will seek your approval before proceeding.
Charges and/or Fees may vary by geography, category, service complexity, appointment time and real‑time demand. Peak‑time surcharges may apply. You will always see the applicable rates before you confirm the booking.
All Charges and Fees displayed are inclusive of applicable GST or other indirect taxes, unless stated otherwise.

We may add, remove or suspend payment methods at any time.
We use third‑party payment gateways and processors (each a “Payment Processor”). Their terms, privacy policies and security measures apply in addition to ours. We are not liable for errors or delays caused by a Payment Processor.
For card or wallet payments, we may obtain an authorisation hold at the time of booking and capture the final amount after the Pro Service is completed.
Except where required by law or expressly stated in a Supplemental Policy (e.g., workmanship warranty), payments are non‑refundable. Any discretionary refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a commercially reasonable time.
Tips are voluntary. We do not designate any portion of your payment as gratuity and we do not collect or remit tips on behalf of Service Professionals.
8.1 Non‑Discrimination. You agree not to discriminate against Service Professionals on the basis of race, caste, religion, national origin, disability, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, age or any other protected characteristic.
8.2 Safe Environment. You must provide a safe, clean and appropriate workspace for the Service Professional and disclose any relevant health, safety or security information.

8.4 Reporting Misconduct. If a Service Professional behaves inappropriately (e.g., rude, unsafe, illegal), report the incident to goheritofficial@gmail.com within 48 hours.
8.5 Off‑Platform Solicitation. For a period of 12 months after a booking, you agree not to solicit or engage the same Service Professional for similar services except through the Platform, unless you pay GoHerit a fair referral fee equal to the Fees that would have applied.
9.1 Licence to You. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, GoHerit grants you a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, non‑sublicensable licence to access and use the Services for your personal, non‑commercial purposes.
9.2 Restrictions. You shall not:
9.3 Content Standards. You shall not upload content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, hateful, violent, harmful to children, invasive of privacy, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
9.4 Ownership. All right, title and interest in the Services (including all software, databases, copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual‑property rights) are and will remain the exclusive property of GoHerit and its licensors.
9.5 Feedback. If you submit ideas or suggestions ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty‑free licence to use and exploit that Feedback without restriction or compensation.
10.1 Term. These Terms commence when you first access the Services and continue until terminated as provided below.
10.2 Suspension or Termination by GoHerit. We may restrict, suspend or terminate your Account or access to all or part of the Services immediately if:
10.3 Termination by You. You may terminate these Terms at any time by closing your Account via the Platform or by emailing official@goherit.com. Outstanding bookings must be cancelled per Section 6.
10.4 Effects of Termination. Upon termination (a) your licence under Section 9.1 ceases; (b) your Account will be deactivated; and (c) Sections that by nature should survive (including Sections 4, 5, 7, 8, 9.4‑9.5, 11‑15) shall survive.
11.1 AS‑IS Basis. The Platform and Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non‑infringement.
11.2 Marketplace Limitation. GoHerit is not responsible for (a) the quality, timing, legality or safety of Pro Services; (b) acts or omissions of Service Professionals; or (c) any property damage or personal injury arising during Pro Services.
11.3 No Guarantee. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure or error‑free, or that defects will be corrected.
Indirect Damages. GoHerit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses.
Aggregate Cap. GoHerit’s total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services shall not exceed (a) the Fees actually retained by GoHerit in relation to the booking giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 10,000 in the aggregate, whichever is lower.
Exclusions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g., death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
You agree to indemnify, defend (at our option) and hold harmless GoHerit and its officers, directors, employees, agents and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Services or Pro Services; (b) your breach of these Terms or applicable law; (c) your User Content; or (d) your interactions with Service Professionals.
14.1 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws principles.
14.2 Jurisdiction. Subject to Section 14.3, the courts of New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services.
14.3 Arbitration. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in New Delhi under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996. The tribunal shall consist of one (1) arbitrator appointed by GoHerit. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English. The award shall be final and binding. Each party shall bear its own costs unless the tribunal decides otherwise.

We aim to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within the timelines prescribed by applicable law.
16.1 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
16.2 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights and obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
16.3 Relationship. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as creating a partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship between you and GoHerit.
16.4 Entire Agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any Supplemental Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and GoHerit regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements.
16.5 Force Majeure. GoHerit shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, strikes, power or Internet outages, or government actions.
